| JHS
was invited to join this festival. The festival promoted the
Tennessee historical societies and initiated the
2012 opening of the tour season at Davies Manor Plantation.
The festival
included nineteenth century music, a Civil War Battle demonstration and
discounted admission to the manor
house. At the JHS booth, Harvey and Margie answered questions
as well as promoted
membership interest. It provided the rare opportunity for JHS
to
participate in an activity with other West Tennessee historical
societies. |
